This Jaguar 3.4 Mk2 was painstakingly restored between 1998 and 2006. Professional restoration of engine, bodywork (bare metal re-spray), including walnut panelling and Connolly leather interiors conducted in Sydney ($ 40 000 spent). The leather trim, walnut veneer and carpets are all still in very good condition. Full engine rebuild, the rear axles, suspension, brakes (hydraulics) all overhauled.
Three speed auto (Borg Warner ’65 transmission from an XJS, installed and fitted in July 2011), drives extremely well and is rust free.
$12,000 has just been spent (July 2011) on the mechanics to bring the car up to scratch. Always garaged and cleaned. Solid example of this classic Jaguar car in great condition, both externally and mechanically. It has only been driven for 600 kilometres driven 2006 and 2010.
